I'm Gerson Lima, a (Frontend || Backend || Full Stack) Developer since 2009.

I've been building for the web since 2009. These days that means React, Next.js, TypeScript and Node.js on the front, with AWS, Docker and Linux underneath, and a team of engineers around it.

I'm currently Technical Lead at FutureBrand, a global brand transformation company, a place I left in 2019 and ad back to in 2022 to lead engineering. Before that: Millennium BCP (via Aubay), R/GA, and a long run in São Paulo agencies where deadlines were never negotiable.

Most of my career has been spent where a complex brief meets a real deadline. I build the thing, decide how it should be built, and make sure the people building it get better while they do it.

Lately I've been going deep on AI-native engineering, not the buzzword version, the version where delivery actually gets faster.

Outside work, I finished my first full IRONMAN in Portugal - Cascais in October 2026, nine months after my first ever training session, and having never run a marathon before. Same principle as the job: show up, do the boring reps, don't blow up on the bike.
